Tis the season for interesting mushrooms to appear and no one could be more interested in finding them than me. This red beauty almost looked like a piece of plastic stuck in the grass by the lake. So glad I took a closer look! Maybe I shouldn't have plucked it but it wouldn't have made a very interesting subject hiding in the grass the way it was. Sitting on my computer desk though it has space to show off all its gorgeousness.
